Clusterflush

Clusterflush is a system for all styles of milking parlour for sanitising the milking cluster between cows being milked.

It is an accepted fact that the milking parlour is a significant contributor to the spread of Mastitis and high cell counts within the dairy herd. Clusterflush will eliminate up to 99.8% of this cross infection.

Mastitis and high cell counts cost the dairy industry £200 million a year. It is not unusual for a dairy farmer with 150 cows to be losing £1000 per month or more.

Clusterflush can be fitted to any make or style of milking parlour including swingover, rotary and doubled up parlours. Custom modifications to your claws ensure the system sanitises and dries effectively. The unique design of the system ensures no cleaning fluid can get into the milk.

The Clusterflush can be fitted to any existing ACR or Milk Meter system and is fully automatic. In the parlour each point is flushed immediately after it has been taken from the cow. Any remaining milk is “swept” from the cluster and long milk tube and the clusterflushing takes place. Both cluster and long milk tube are then dried using compressed air.

Clusterflush is an individual cluster sanitisation system that will help you eliminate cross contamination and infection between your cows, stopping the spread of mastitis in your herd via the milking machine.

BEFORE YOU KNOW IT THIS SYSTEM WILL PAY FOR ITSELF. FACT!

Poor udder health and mastitis is one of the most costly conditions in national dairy herds and is the reason for culling 27% of dairy cows from the national herd each year.*

Mastitis effects farmers financially in many ways, not only through the cost of mastitis treatments and veterinary costs, but also other indirect costs such as discarded milk, reduced milk yield and quality, fertility problems, higher replacement costs loss of genetic potential and extra labour requirements. The average cost of one clinical case of mastitis is considered to be around £211*. With the average incidence of clinical mastitis in the UK in 1999 being around 45 cases per 100 cows a year, that's £9,495. This evidence alone proves that using the Clusterflush will dramatically increase your annual revenue and, in many cases pay for itself within 12 months of installation.
